Marina Abramović is a Serbian performance artist and art filmmaker who began her career in the early 1970s. Active for over four decades, her work explores the relationship between performer and audience, feminist art, the limits of the body, and the possibilities of the mind. Abramović was awarded the Golden Lion for Best Artist at the 1997 Venice Biennale. In 2008, she was decorated with the Austrian Commander Cross for her contribution to Art History.

Lawyer at the Paris Bar and at the International Criminal Court, François Zimeray is a specialist in business law and human rights. He was a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004 (member of the Legal Commission) then Ambassador of France in charge of human rights. For five years, he carried out more than one hundred field missions around the world (Iraq, Libya, Colombia, DRC, Sri-Lanka …). Appointed Ambassador of France to Denmark from 2013 to 2018, he notably created the “Human Rights Prize” of the French Embassy awarded by Robert Badinter. On February 14, 2015, François Zimeray almost died as a result of a terrorist shootout in Copenhagen, while taking part in a debate on freedom of expression.

Tribute to Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, Saturday 28th November

Lord Jonathan Sacks served as the Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth from 1991 to 2013. After stepping down as Chief Rabbi, Sacks was appointed as the Ingeborg and Ira Rennert Global Distinguished Professor of Judaic Thought at New York University and as the Kressel and Ephrat Family University Professor of Jewish Thought at Yeshiva University, as Professor of Law, Ethics, and the Bible at King’s College London. He won the Templeton Prize in 2016.
Rabbi Mendel Kalmenson is the Rabbi of Beit Baruch and director of Chabad of Belgravia, London. He recently published Positivity Bias. He is also the author of the popular books Seeds of Wisdom and A Time to Heal.
Rabbi Joseph Dweck is the senior Rabbi of the S&P Sephardi Community of the United Kingdom. He is also the Deputy President of the London School of Jewish Studies.
Rabbi Dr. Abraham Levy O.B.E is the founder of the Jewish School Naima JPS. He published his memoirs A Rocky Road in 2017.
