Discover the United Artists NFT’s membership cards collection
Welcomed by Jack Lang at IMA on November 6 2022, the “United Artists” collective announces a major charity event organised by the Franco-English foundation Hexagon Society.
During an evening that will offer Franco-Ukrainian shows, and a new kind of auction for the benefit of the main institutions Ukrainian cultures that have been seriously affected by the war. It is very urgent that these museums, cultural institutions and artistic projects receive funding as they are struggling to survive. Five projects have been carefully selected with the help of the Ukrainian Institute of Culture to help the main cultural institutions of the country, including The National Art Museum of Ukraine (NAMU), Odessa Fine Art Museum (OFAM), The Ukrainian Institute.
At the heart of the “United Artists for Ukraine” proposal, a simple and original idea: to create a digital membership card, issued in the form of NFT, which gives access to visits, workshops and meetings with the artists of the collective, privileged moments with personalities from the international art world, openings and private parties. Like a membership without borders, the events will take place in all the major art capitals (Paris, New York, London, Miami, Seoul, Zurich, Dubai…), at the invitation of our fifteen partners. The galleries Thaddaeus Ropac, Emmanuel Perrotin, or specialized media Purple Magazine, Whitewall, and many others have already answered the call of the collective. For example benefits: a private tour by Ron Arad of his art studio in Camden Town London, a meeting with the greatest collector of modern art David Nahmad, a tour of Art Basel with the best curators.
United Artists for Ukraine is releasing for the first time a series of NFT memberships giving access to a exclusive lifetime rewards program proposed by members of the collective, including Marina Abramović, Ron Arad, Douglas Gordon, Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery or Perrotin Gallery. The benefits of the membership sale will support the main Ukrainian cultural institutions.
