Bernard-Henri Lévy

Bernard-Henri Lévy is a philosopher, journalist, activist and filmmaker. Active in Bangladesh, Bosnia, Libya, and Ukraine, he has a taste for what he calls “the great rage of things”. His writing has appeared in a wide range of publications throughout Europe and the United States, including Le Point (France), The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Vanity Fair. From Paris, Lévy directs the review La Règle du Jeu. His films include the documentaries “Bosna!”, “Peshmerga” and “The Battle of Mosul”. Lévy is co-founder of the anti-racist group SOS Racism and has served on diplomatic missions for the French government.

Bryan Appleyard

Currently working for The Sunday Times, Bryan Appleyard is a British journalist and author. He has also written for The New York Times, Vanity Fair, the London Daily Telegraph, The Spectator and the New Statesman. He has published a number of novels and has been selected as Feature Writer of the Year three times as well as Interviewer of the Year in the British Press Awards. He is also a former fellow of the World Economic Forum. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2019 Birthday Honours for services to journalism and the arts.
